The blessed people of Yemen are facing the worst famine the world has seen in 100 years. Thousands have already died of hunger and more than half the country are relying on humanitarian aid to survive. Children are especially vulnerable, with a child dying from preventable causes every 10 minutes. We must put an end to this tragedy. We are on the ground distributing food parcels to some of the worst-affected areas in Sana’a, Hadhramout, Ta’iz and Aden and we are now building water wells, setting up a school feeding programme and a mobile medical clinic.
