We the Peacekeepers are trying to spread awareness by educating people of all generations on the issue of child marriage. This is because It disregards privileges that should be sustained as kids have equal rights to choose whether they would want to commit to a permanent change in life, which would lead to broad long term consequences for the brides and grooms. However, it is increasingly popular among young girls as indicated by UNICEF, almost half (45%) of all women aged 20-24 are married before the age of 18 and almost (17%) of girls are married before the age of 15.
