Through the poem ‘child marriage’ poet Shweta Gupta is trying to throw light upon the fact that child marriage is a taboo to the society, it carves a bleak future for the children wherein they lose their freedom to learn and grow.

The poet illustrate the interests, aspirations and dreams of a girl child and conveys her feelings that how she yearns to learn and fly to the highest skies during her blooming stage of life.
