FOR PROTECTION CHILDREN RIGHTS

Chairman

After four years of war and economic collapse in Yemen, many hospitals are no longer functioning, and private treatment is unaffordable. Patients must risk driving through or around conflict zones in order to get to the nearest health facility. Pregnant women, newborns, and children are among the most vulnerable—and they often arrive too late to be saved. Staff at the Taiz Houban Mother and Child Hospital, opened by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 2015, are providing urgently needed services.
